We started because a family felt lost — and no one should.
Breadcrumbs began with a simple truth: the journey of raising a child with a disability is often walked in the dark. We exist to light the path.
When a diagnosis arrives, so does a mountain of appointments, forms, and unfamiliar words — and often, a deep sense of isolation.
Breadcrumbs was founded by families and practitioners who had walked this path and refused to let others walk it alone. We saw parents piecing together fragments of guidance late at night, and children waiting for spaces that welcomed them exactly as they are.
So we built a community of support — practical, emotional, and human. We guide families through the maze of services, connect them with others who understand, and remind them, again and again, that they are never alone in finding their way.
